Fiber Arts Ministry (FAM)
We are a group that meets to work on assorted projects. We welcome anyone that either knit, crochet, sew, needlepoint, quilt or whatever your passion is. We also welcome those who just want to keep us company while we work!
We typically gather the 1st and 3rd Monday afternoons at 2:00PM at Westfield Manor retirement apartments, where we share much joy and laughter as we work alongside several residents who enjoy helping others as much as we do!
Many of our finished projects are donated to local organizations like the Pregnancy Care Center, where new moms and babies receive our hand knitted and crocheted afghans to help keep them warm.
We accept donations of: bias tape, buttons, cotton fabric, crochet patterns & hooks, embroidery floss, hand sewing needles, large safety pins, yarn, spools of thread, needlepoint or cross stitch projects that are partially completed.
